Hi, I'm the proud owner of Steve — a very real, very extra-long corgi who is playful, energetic, and endlessly curious. Steve is longer than most corgis, and watching him turn his unique shape into a superpower every single day — swiping snacks off the table, stretching from one piece of furniture to the next, reaching that favorite toy no ordinary dog could get to — inspired me to start writing.

The Steve the Extra-Long Corgi series was born from a simple idea: being different isn't something to be ashamed of. It's something to celebrate. Steve doesn't wish he were shorter. He uses every extra inch to his advantage, and in doing so, he shows the children reading along that what makes you stand out can also be what makes you shine.

Each book in the series follows Steve and his friends through fun, heartwarming adventures — the kind that spark imagination at bedtime and start conversations about confidence, kindness, and embracing who you are.
